Stop Motion Practice:
Stop Motions I like:
I was really impressed by this stop motion. I like how the sticky notes created a pixilated look. The way it has been done makes it look very similar to a video game. It was all very detailed and the notes had been moved perfectly for each frame.
I loved this animation. I thought it was so clever. Every photo has been taken perfectly and lined up to fit the one next to it. It shows the boy grow up and all his adventures. It is a very unique method of stop motion I have not seen before and it defiantly inspired me. The lighting just change quite a lot and flickers. They could have been more aware of the lighting.
I liked this stop motion. It was very clever how they used non-food items as a cooking show. Although not everything looked like food, it was very obvious as to what they were trying to achieve. The cutting of the 'food' was very realistic and timed very well to make it look as if it was actually being cut up. However, it does look as if it has been filmed. If it was a little more jerky then it would give the impression of stop motion a bit more obvious.
I really like this lego stop motion remake of a Coronation Street scene. I am a big fan of the show and have seen the real episode this has been based on. It is so realistic (despite being made out of lego). The scenery is very accurate to the actual set and even the costumes on the characters are very similar! I think the part where the wine bottle smashes when Clayton and Kylie are fighting was very cleverly done as it looks like it actual smashed! Even tiny details such as the eyes and the mouths moving has been done. Very impressive. However, the animator could have used more frames per second to make the images flow better.

Research:
The animation above 'Animal Rights Stop Motion' was made by 'Toy Productions Israel'. I cannot find any information about them on the internet and this was their only Youtube upload. From what I gather, the purpose of the video is to spread awareness about animal rights. I really liked this video as it was really nicely done.and fairly realistic. I hope that my pasticine animal film will be similar to this as it is very impressive.

My Animation:
Evaluation:
Overall I am pleased with how my final animation has come out, especially with the voiceovers. The voiceovers and foley sounds fit well with the images on the screen. However, to improve it, I should have taken more photos and made the frames per second count higher as it looks quite 'jerky'. I have used a variety of different and interesting angles to make the audience feel as if they are there with the characters.
